  Oh man. Thank you so much for writing this. I’ve tried to explain and write about the way I *don’t* see several times and largely failed.

This is honestly an excellent explanation :D Very relatable for me, and hopefully informative to the 99%.

There is one point where my experience differs, though. Lack of recall doesn’t lessen past pain for me. Instead I experience an intense longing for what is gone and can never be returned.

I, too, would try anything to *see without seeing*, just once…
