  This. I was well more than a month into a daily publishing challenge when I got hit by a pretty nasty illness. Tried to push myself to write still and carried the torch a couple days.

I’m not proud of the work I produced in that time, but I am proud of having produced it. If that makes sense. And then I just…gave up. And then the next day I thought ‘oh what does it matter’ and since then it has proven incredibly hard to get ‘back on the horse’ so to speak.

Now, I’m me, and you’re you — so YMMV. But as you say — keeping momentum is easier than building it. Thanks for writing this.
