  I wasn’t denying its usefulness, besides in the deliberately dramatic phrasing of the code rule. Just questioning whether it is useful besides *self*-reflection.

I have a tendency to if not weaponise, at least *wield *philosophy - that this rule is in place (and deliberately exaggerated) to combat.
